Gorge-walking involves scrambling through a stream, overcoming natural obstacles and enjoying spectacular scenery from an unusual perspective.
Every participant is guaranteed a good soaking, but this activity is tremendous fun and offers great rewards to those groups who can work together to push themselves in adversity and complete the route.
As an optional extra, our traditional location even offers a 15m abseil into the gorge from an overhead bridge!
This activity takes place away from the Centre, 12-20 miles / 20-40 minutes travel.
Sessions can be tailored to cover elements of the National Curriculum for PE, Geography, Science and PSHE at key stages 2-4.
All activity risk assessments can be found under the resources section of our website.
