Is it just me or has the past few months just flown by! With the Autumn beginning to show with changes to the leaves and the weather, although I do like these bright chilly morning’s, it is beginning to get to the time of year when we say good bye to our amazing seasonal instructors and facilities team. Starting with the facilities team, they have yet again coped with some incredibly tight turn rounds to get buildings ready and I’m continually astounded by how much food can be produced from such a small kitchen. Again the comments received this year have exceeded expectation. All that alongside keeping the instructors happy with cake – amazing! The comments received about the instructing team have also been phenomenal and I can honestly say that the team this year has been one of the best if not the best we have ever had. They have worked hard and on occasion played hard, George our Chief instructor even went to France to cycle four major passes, The Glandon, The Col de Telegraph, Col de Galibier and the famous Alpe d’Huez, which George says was a doddle!!!!!! So from me a massive thank you to each and every one of the staff team at Carlton Lodge, you have made a massive difference to over 4,000 young people, I hope to see some if not all of you again next year! David
Paul and I would just like to say how grateful we are for the activity weekend that you put on for us recently.
Bex, Scott and George were absolutely superb hosts from the moment we arrived throughout the activities until we left the following day.
With yourself and your colleagues supporting us internally you made it a very enjoyable weekend for our very boisterous rugby team.
The accommodation and facilities were exactly what we needed and we would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of making a booking.
