Summer Holiday Activity Days

High Ropes

North Yorkshire Youth, (NYY) based at Carlton Lodge Activity Centre near Thirsk, North Yorkshire has announced Summer Holiday Activity Days during the forthcoming school summer holiday break.

The new service provides activity programmes for children aged between eight and 14 years.

Zip, Leap, Climb on Thursday 23^rd July 2026 - at 10am and 1.30pm is an adrenaline-packed morning or afternoon of a three-hour session on the High Ropes course, participating alongside others to Zip, Leap and Climb the different challenges. BOOK HERE: 10am Session and 1.30pm Session

Campfires and Quivers on Monday 10^th August is a great family day out at Carlton Lodge Activity Centre. Families will experience exciting activities including Archery, Bushcraft, Shelter building, and a fun fact hunt activity that everyone will enjoy. BOOK HERE

Our initiative will contribute and help but in addition, parents will also be pleased to know that their child in our care will also benefit from the learning and personal development opportunities we deliver”.

My son got back yesterday from his residential with his school, and he’s had the best time!

I was so worried about him as he has autism & adhd but I think he took a shine to some of the guides, and it sounds like you all really made his stay enjoyable! He also said the pizza was one of the best he’s ever had! So I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at Carlton Lodge!
