Welcome to Carlton Lodge Outdoor Centre! We specialise in adventure, learning and discovery for children and young people, right in the heart of glorious North Yorkshire.

We're passionate about what we do here at Carlton Lodge - using the outdoors to help children and young people discover the power of their own potential.

Our range of indoor and outdoor activities boosts self-confidence and teamworking skills by focussing on communication, planning and creative thinking.

And when school’s out for the holidays, our Activity Days offer young adventurers the chance to explore all day at our 12-acre site near Thirsk, just 10 minutes from the A1.

We’re open all year round for group visits, with accommodation for 96 and camping facilities for a further 140.

Carlton Lodge Outdoor Centre is part of North Yorkshire Youth – a registered charity committed to providing learning and personal development opportunities for children and young people.
